Do I need a Fortress Power system to use the app?

Yes. The Fortress Power App works exclusively with Fortress Power batteries, inverters, and accessories that run our software.

Can homeowners adjust settings safely?

Yes. The app offers an intuitive interface that clearly explains each setting and its impact. If assistance is ever needed, the installer or Fortress Power support team can adjust settings remotely via the Fortress Power PRO app.

Can homeowners enroll in EnergyBroker or Virtual Power Plant (VPP) programs through the app?

Not yet. This feature is planned for a future update as we expand EnergyBroker and VPP functionality.

What devices and operating systems are supported?

The Fortress Power Home app is available for iOS and Android smartphones. Tablets are also supported, though the app is not currently optimized as a native tablet experience.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Your system data is securely stored on Fortress Power–managed servers and is used only to support app functionality and system monitoring. Fortress Power does not sell your data to third parties.

How do I contact technical support from the app?

You can contact Fortress Power technical support directly from the app using the in-app report feature. On supported devices, you can also shake your phone to quickly submit a support report.

Are multiple languages supported?

Yes. The Fortress Power App is currently available in both English and Spanish.
