Por Los Nuestros and Fortress Power Honored with PR Energy Island-Wide Project Award for Solar Aqueducts Project
Puerto Rico – March 28, 2024 – Por Los Nuestros and Fortress Power are proud to announce their recent recognition at the PR Energy Week event. During the PR Impact Awards Dinner Celebration held last Thursday, March 21, 2024, the Solar Aqueducts Project received the prestigious PR Energy Island-Wide Project Award for “Water Pumping Systems.”

This award serves as a testament to their dedication to improving the lives of Puerto Ricans and advancing renewable energy solutions.
The Solar Aqueducts Project by Por Los Nuestros has been a transformative initiative, providing reliable access to clean water for over 7,000 families in rural areas of Puerto Rico. Leveraging advanced battery technology from Fortress Power and installations by MES CORP, the project ensures consistent water purification and pumping, even in challenging weather conditions and power outages, safeguarding public health and enhancing community resilience.
