Yes. The Fortress Power App works exclusively with Fortress Power batteries, inverters, and accessories that run our software.
The Fortress Power PRO app unlocks advanced tools required for proper system installation and commissioning. This includes network configuration, operating mode selection, device pairing, and other advanced settings. Homeowners will not usually need access to these features.
No. Commissioning can also be completed directly on the system or through a laptop. However, the app streamlines the process and makes setup faster and easier for installers.
Yes. Installers and the Fortress Power support team can remotely access system data and diagnostics when needed, ensuring fast and accurate support.
The Fortress Power PRO app is designed for professional installers and advanced users. While experienced DIY users may be able to navigate certain features, some settings directly impact system performance, safety, and code compliance and should only be adjusted by a certified installer or Fortress Power technical support. For everyday monitoring and basic system insights, homeowners should use the Fortress Power Home app.
The Fortress Power PRO app is available for iOS and Android smartphones. Tablets are also supported, though the app is not currently optimized as a native tablet experience.
Yes. Your system data is securely stored on Fortress Power–managed servers and is used only to support app functionality and system monitoring. Fortress Power does not sell your data to third parties.
You can contact Fortress Power technical support directly from the app using the in-app report feature. On supported devices, you can also shake your phone to quickly submit a support report.
Yes. The Fortress Power App is currently available in both English and Spanish.
