Getting Started with the SOLARMAN Apps
This page walks you through the required steps to properly set up and connect your Fortress Power Solo 6.5K inverter using the SOLARMAN mobile app. SOLARMAN is a third-party monitoring platform. The instructions below will help ensure your system is configured correctly for monitoring, performance visibility, and long-term reliability.
Homeowner / System Owner Setup
Step 1: Install the SOLARMAN App and Create an Account

Step 2: Log In and Grant Monitoring Access
Once your account is created, log in using your registered credentials to access the SOLARMAN platform. To ensure proper system support, you should grant authorization to your installer so they can remotely monitor system performance, assist with troubleshooting, and perform firmware updates when needed. Fortress Power also recommends granting authorization to Fortress Power to allow our technical support team to assist with customer care if required.

Step 2: Commission the System
After receiving authorization from the homeowner, commission the system using the SOLARMAN Business app or directly through the inverter’s LCD interface. Both commissioning methods are supported. Refer to the user manual linked below for detailed procedures and commissioning requirements.
Step 3: Review Default Inverter Settings
The Solo 6.5K inverter ships with a pre-loaded firmware configuration that includes the following default parameters:
- Battery type: Lithium-ion (16 cells) *
- Communication protocol: Fortress Power
- Low voltage cut-off: 20%
- High voltage cut-off: 100%
- Operating mode: Self-consumption (SBU)
If any of these parameters need to be adjusted, refer to the user manual for configuration guidance. Performing a factory reset will restore the inverter to the default settings listed above.
* eVault MAX, eFlex MAX, and eBoost batteries use 16 cells. The eForce battery uses a 15-cell configuration.
